Birthday Pages 10/22/07 Ramona

Thanks for picking up a Birthday Pages Kit! I hope you enjoy the pages.

Page #1 It's Your Day

Follow layout as above. It's your day has a shadow background. On "your" I added some shimmerz (glitter glue). I also put shimmerz in dots on the brackets. Lastly, I free handed a swirl in the left hand corner as seen in the second picture.

Page #2

Leave a space between the green and the print paper...you will cover the space with the orange and blue papers. You will need to freehand a curve on the orange paper.

For the circles at the bottom, you can leave them plain....or add some diamond glaze to make them shiny!

Page #3 Celebrate

I ran out of the orange paper...so there are two versions of this page. The layout is the same...just the colors are different.

For the celebrate wording, on the left, I tore the white and glued to the orange and on the right, I tore the blue and glued to the white. I inked around the white pieces.

Thanks again...let me know if you have any questions!

6th Card for Card Class

Sorry ladies, I forgot to add the sixth card to my blog last night. On this snowman card you will want to assemble as much as possible before adding to the top of the card. Punch holes in the lefthand corner of the assembled "top" and tie knots through the holes. This way when you adhere everything to the card, you won't have holes all the way through your card. I hope this makes sense.

Here's a close up of the snowflake that is on the front of the card. I pierced a hole through the snowflake and put the brad just through the snowflake, not all the way through the card. Glue dot the snowflake to the top of the card.

Here's a close up of the ribbons tied through the upper lefthand side of the card.

Sorry for forgetting to add this last night! Hope you enjoy your cards!
Have a great rest of the week! I'm spending as much time inside today before work to get some cards done for this weekend. If I didn't have to work, I'd probably just get back in my PJ's and hang all day! Rain makes me want to do that!
Blessings,
Caron

October 17 Card Class - Christmas Cards, Caron

Here are the cards from this past Card Class. The theme was Christmas Cards. It's hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner! For those of you who weren't able to make it to class, or just simply purchased kits, there are still a few spots left for this Saturdays Card Crop. October 27th, 12n-8pm, $5.00, includes snacks and drinks. I'll have lots of new Christmas Card samples for you to look at, plus some Cards from the "past". Copy the ones I have on display or create your own! Hope to see you there. I can't wait!

This first card has a pocket on the front. Be sure to put adhesive only on the sides and bottom of the patterned paper to make a "pocket". Adhere the ribbon strip across the top of the patterned paper. Make the bow by taking the middle sized ribbon and putting a glue dot on the back center of the ribbon. Bring the sides into the center and flip the ribbon over. This creates the bow. Trim around the snowflakes and add one to the center of the ribbon bow.

The greeting that slips into the pocket is simple. I used glue dots on the ribbon to adhere it to the front/back of the greeting. Adhere your other snowflake on the front of the ribbon.

This second card looks more difficult, but is simple to assemble. Start by glueing the patterned paper to the top of the card (dots). Second, matte the Happy holidays with the green strip of cardstock and adhere to the top of the card. Using foam tape or pop dots, adhere the matted pattern paper to the top left of the card. Before you do this, you will want to punch three holes and tie the ribbon through. You will also notice that the green and patterned corners that are in your kit are at the top left of the square, and at the bottom right of the card. Place the green corner at the very edges, and then the red patterned paper corners just slightly off these.

This card is simple to assemble also.

You'll notice that I put the ribbon through the button and tied it in a knot. A simpler way to do this would be to tie the ribbon in a knot and glue dot it to the card. I also used a glue dot to adhere the button.

Before you add your greeting to the top of your card, you will want to shape the dotted ribbon in a "V" and staple it to the upper lefthand corner of the greeting. I also used foam tape or a pop dot to pop up the greeting on this card.

Again, a very simple card. Before you adhere the red cardstock to the top of the card, you will want to adhere the patterned paper and the ribbon to the cardstock. You will need to trim the ribbon or just tuck it behind the cardstock and gluedot.

Punch three holes in the scalloped circle and tie ribbons through before adhering to the front of the card.

This stacked Christmas Tree is easy to assemble. I angled my pieces of the tree, but you could leave them straight also. It's totally up to you. Trim out the star and adhere to the top of the tree.

Tie the gingham ribbon in a loose knot and put the brad through the knot and spread the brad apart. Then gluedot the brad and ribbon to the bottom of the tree.

I hope you guys enjoy these cards. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them at this blog and I will get back to you.
Blessings!
Caron

Baby October-10/18/07 Ramona

Thanks so much for purchasing a kit! I hope you enjoy the pages!

Page one is Sweet Pea. You will need to create your own curve with the pea paper. For the design about the curve, use the heart stamp at the store and the dots were made with a marker.

For the Motherhood page, assemble as shown, again using stamps at the store to stamp the hearts and WAITING. Attach the long piece of ribbon and then tie the short piece around the long one.

The last page is SMITTEN. No tricks to this one...assemble as shown. The paper is available at the store to make this into an easy two page layout.

Soccer Mini Album 9/27/07

Starting with star, use black ink to edge around the star. Use a stipple brush or sponge to add green ink to the star. Glue down letters for star and stamp soccer player.

Making sure to complete each page before gluing it down to the chipboard, tear the green strip first and adhere to the white sheet. Attach the black squares and then the sticker. Lastly, put in the brad and then attach to chipboard.

Stipple brush the white pieces before you begin. Use the black as the base, attach the green strips and the "got soccer" pieces. Use 2 stickers on left side and cut one sticker in half on the right side to use as photo corners.

Use black ink to edge the white pieces. Attach to the green and then onto the black background. Attach the soccer pattern paper to each side. Make a knot in the ribbon and place on the left side. On the right side, cut small strips and attach with staples.

Stipple the white pieces with green ink. Cut the SOCCER sticker in half to fit on the small white piece. (I inked with black around the soccer part) Cut out the arrow. On the right side, place the sticker at the bottom and black stripe on the end. Hole punch three holes after you attach the green to the chipboard. You will need to use the crop-a-dile to easily punch through the chipboard. Tie ribbons.

On the last page, trim the pattern paper and glue down TEAM. Use the last soccer sticker on the black square. Glue ribbon down.

When you have completed all pages, hole punch the first page with 2 holes. Again, you will need the crop-a-dile to cut through the chipboard. Mark each page and then punch the holes. Add the book rings and tie ribbon onto them. You are done:) Hope you enjoy!!
